Consultancy and Testing

As part of our complete range of services, we are able to offer UKAS accredited sound insulation testing to ensure compliance with Part E of the Building Regulations.

Currently, every new build or conversion is required to be tested at a 10% sample rate in order to comply with Part E and sound testing takes place at pre-completion stage. The development needs to be practically complete with doors in place, windows and trickle vents fitted and all floor and wall surfaces complete.

Our certification is accepted by all Building Control bodies and our specialist staff will ensure that the tests are undertaken promptly and efficiently in order to minimise the impact on your development.

Our experience in acoustics allows us to provide you with expert advice in the early stages of a project, ensuring that a pass is achieved at the testing stage. We therefore recommend that you get us involved as soon as possible in order to minimise the risk of failures.
